PDO Threads

MINT® PDO is a safe and effective thread which lifts and tightens sagging skin tissue, using threads made of Polydioxanone (PDO).  Threads are introduced into the deeper layers of skin to produce 3 effects in the skin:

• Instant Skin Lifting through mechanical effects

The area of the skin will be numbed using either/both a topical cream or a local injected anesthetic.  The procedure will take between 30-60 minutes as the threads are inserted using a cannula or micro-needle depending on the individual's requirements. There are no cuts or incisions required, minimizing risk of scarring. Immediate lifting effects can be seen once the threads are inserted.
